On a look out for wild animals?
Hiking to Wannihorn or Seetalhorn you will not only have spectacular views of high peaks and glacier but also often chamois, ibexes and many more animals.

you can find great connections either over the Simplon pass or simply take 20min Car train from Brig.

From Grächen you can reach the tourist hot spots such as Zermatt at the feet’s of the famous Matterhorn or Saas-fee which is surrounded by 13 four thousand meter mountain including the Dom, the highest mountain of Switzerland or the Medieval city of Sion and by at the same time enjoying the tranquillity of Grächen.

Ski or Snowboard?
At just 2 minutes from the Hotel you can take the Gondel to Hannialp where you will find 11 Skilift and a Total of 44 kilometer ski runs going up to 2800 meter for beginner to Advanced. There is also a downhill which will take you almost back to the Hotel.
MORE Ski or Snowboard?
No problem, we have daily shuttle services to Zermatt the highest ski resort in Europe where you will find 360 kilometres of blue, red, black and yellow runs. We also have shuttle to Saas-Fee which offer 100 kilometres of blue to black runs going up to 3600 meters of altitude.
Cross country Skiing? Yes also possible!
In the Matterhorn Valley between Randa & Täsch you will find 15km of prepared trails. On the Hannigalp you can also find a cross country loupe.
Hiking?
No problem, we have daily shuttle services to Zermatt the highest ski resort in Europe where you will find 360 kilometres of blue, red, black and yellow runs. We also have shuttle to Saas-Fee which offer 100 kilometres of blue to black runs going up to 3600 meters of altitude.
Hiking tip!
The Glacier gate in just under 2 hours from the Hotel you will feel like on another planet were you will be able to take a swim in a lake with glacier water! But will you?
Up for Sledging, Snowshoe hiking or try out a snow bike?
You have adventures Snowshoe hiking trail up to the Wannihorn or simpler forest trails around Hannigalp. You can sledge down from Hannigalp to Grächen just 2 minutes away from the Hotel.
Looking for activities to enjoy with your kids?
Around Grächen there are many interesting games for the kids and will also find the Robis children play park just 5 minutes from the Hotel with Zip-lines or a indoor playground, climbing wall, mini golf, tennis badminton and much more! In the Winter you can go also Ice Skating!
Snow fun for Kids?
On the Hannigalp you will find a Funpark and Familyslopes
Looking for Adrenalin or for some other kind of fun?
Then you can perhaps try Water-ski or wake board or just swim in a mountain lake? How does that sound or prefer to take a helicopter to see the impressive Swiss Mountains? Or (and) outdoor and indoor climbing river rafting on the Vispa?
NEW! Matterhorn Alpine Crossing!
A single cable car journey of 1.6 kilometres from Switzerland to Italy now possible. It covers 4,000 metres of altitude, making it the cable car link with the greatest altitude difference in Europe.
Heard of the Charles Kuonen suspension bridge?
It is the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the Alps! Are you brave enough to cross it?
Day Off? Relaxation..
Apart from our Wellness Area you can visit the Brigerbad Thermalbaths which is located approx. 30min. driving from the Hotel.
Passionate by Wines?
Then you are in the right place! Wallis is biggest wine region of Switzerland offering a wide variety of 60 different wine grapes compared to the 6 grapes you find in the Bordeaux region! You can also find the Europe’s highest wine yard just next door. Visperterminen located between 650 to 1150 meter. We have in our Restaurant a wide varity of selected wines from the region!
